Clementina Caputo holds a PhD from the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy). Between 2016 and 2019, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg in Germany. Her main research area is the ceramic material culture of Egypt between the Hellenistic and Byzantine periods. Currently, she is the ceramologist for the Archaeological Missions at Soknopaiou Nesos/Dime (Fayum), Trimithis/Amheida (Dakhla Oasis), Plinthine (North of Lake Mariout), Tuna el-Gebel (Middle Egypt), and Berenike (Eastern Desert).
Julie Marchand holds a PhD from Poitiers University. She is an archaeologist and ceramologist, with a specialized research interest in the late antique and Early Islamic material culture of Egypt. Dr. Marchand currently works for the Histoire et Sources des Mondes Antiques research unit of the Centre national de la recherche scientifique in the Maison de l'Orient et de la Méditerranée (Lyon, France). She is also associated with the Centre Français d'Archéologie et de Sciences Sociales in Kuwait.
Irene Soto Marín is Assistant Professor of Classical Studies and Assistant Curator in the Kelsey Museum at the University of Michigan.
