Anna Lucille Boozer

Anna Lucille Boozer is Assistant Professor of Mediterranean Archaeology at Baruch College and an experienced Roman archaeologist who has published extensively on Roman Egypt, imperialism and daily life. Her work has emphasized how categories of identity—such as gender, ethnicity, status and age—affected modes of self-representation under Roman rule. Her articles have appeared in American Journal of Archaeology and Journal of Mediterranean Archaeology.
