Iain Robertson

Iain Robertson (1948–2021) was Associate Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the University of Washington’s Landscape Architecture Department and an admired, internationally known academic and landscape architect. A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Professor Robertson focused on the role of creativity in the practice of design. He was well known for his ability to inspire students, colleagues, and professionals to push beyond their preconceived boundaries to imagine the unimaginable.
